30 Years of Snooker Craftmanship
In 1990, Mr. Somkiat Kulawattanaporn’ (nickname “O”) founded O’Min Cues Thailand in a province named Minburi, where he grew up. Starting from a small factory, O’Min Cues has launched more than 30 ranks of cues to tailor for players from beginners to professional national representatives.
Unlike the other traditional cues makers in Asia, the philosophy of O’Min Cues is to provide the best quality cue by using high graded ash & maple wood. O’Min Cues chooses to emphasize on cue craftmanship and wood quality rather than focusing on butt design like most of the other Asian brands did.
Today, O’Min Cues is one of the Asian best cue makers and well-known for two of its most remarkable series, which are Hunter and Ultimate. In 2020, O’Min Cues celebrates its 30th anniversary and keep working hard to build a more sustainable snooker environment in worldwide.
In 2020, O'Min Cues Global was established to serve oversea markets (excluding Thailand and Malaysia) and acts as a platform to accept oversea orders as well as communicate directly to the O'Min Cues Team. There will be no more communication barrier between you and O'Min Cues.

The Founder
SOMKIAT KULAWATTANAPORN
Somkiat Kulawattanaporn (Nickname “O”) was born in a province of Bangkok known as Minburi. He began his professional snooker training since young and started to make and repair cues for his friends. In 1990, he founded O'Min Cues Thailand and supply handmade cues to Thailand professional snooker players.
Today, he is the “face”, icon and also the designer of O'Min Cues Thailand, who created many different butt design of O'Min Cues.
Our Masters
in 1990, O'Min Cues started as a small factory (as shown in the picture above). During that moment, the founder and his friends are the first batch of Masters who handle and craft every single cue.There was limited machines in the beginning of business, only simple tools were used.
Today, the factory has upgraded to a bigger size and our Masters team has also expanded to 20+ people with numerous young Thai apprentices who are passionate in cue making. The Head of Masters has over 25 years of experience in cue making and he learned his skills from our Founder. We believe that cultivating and investing in young apprentices is the key of sustainability of O'Min Cues.
